Test Automation Engineer

Hybrid  -  onsite 2 days/week in NYC office

Our client is seeking a QA/Test Automation Engineer with the following skills and experience:
 

  • Demonstrable experience of working in an Agile team as a QA/SDET, collaborating with developers on test case definition, execution, and automation.
  • Proficient in Oracle Database SQL/Postgres, ideally Cloud variants such as CloudSQL.
  • Experience testing containerized applications in Kubernetes/GKE, ideally in GCP.
  • Experience testing J2EE, Tomcat or other Java Application Server based applications
  • Solid working knowledge of UNIX/Linux
  • Experience using continuous integration/deployment tools such as XLR, Bitbucket/Stash, Argo Workflows, Jenkins
  • Experience using collaboration tools JIRA, Confluence
  • Knowledge of trading, capital markets very useful
  • Knowledge of asset management, banking, settlement domain would be helpful but not required
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly.
  • Ability to work independently.

 

 Work authorization: US Citizen or Green Card 

 This is a hybrid role. This role is to be filled outside the states of California and Colorado.
