We' re adding a team member to join our growing troop of experts. You will report to the Practice Leader of our Salesforce Practice and work alongside a co-founder of Talution Group, who is currently leading sales efforts.   The Salesforce ecosystems is a collaborative community, with many outlets to reach your target audience.  Whether it’ s networking, partnering or straight forward selling, you will learn there are several avenues you can take to achieve your business development goals.


The Salesforce Business Development position with Talution Group provides many unique opportunities to engage with the robust technology community we service.  Your focus will be to establish relationships with Salesforce leaders, develop a comprehensive understanding of the instances they run, and identify opportunities to support resourcing with Statement of Work, Staff Augmentation and Direct Hire resourcing needs.  The Salesforce Business Development associate will be responsible for developing an expert level of understanding the platform and the variety of cloud offerings that can be implemented in an instance.   Leverage a robust database, attend various Salesforce events (both in person and online) so you can develop and build your network of technical and business leaders responsible for driving the growth of the Salesforce platform within their respective businesses.    


  • Identify opportunities for Statement of Work, Contract, Contract to Hire, and Direct Hire needs/jobs for Salesforce talent at all levels. 

  • Master the contract presentation and negotiation process to put fair agreements in place with new customers 

  • Manage relationships and with developed accounts and work with hiring managers to specific scope or work and job requirements to pass along to the recruiting team

  • Present appropriate talented mined by our expert Salesforce recruiters to hiring managers for consideration and placement.   

  • Work with hiring managers to negotiate rates, present offers and close our both contract and direct hire needs and support the candidate closing process

  • Keep in touch with place contractors and candidates to support their success and identify additional current and future opportunities to be of service

  • Develop and expert level understanding of the Salesforce platform and how it is sold, integrated, developed on and supported within an organization

  • Attend community user events, Salesforce partner events and networking engagements with Salesforce representatives 

  • Develop expert level understanding of the selling process within Salesforce and the many product development and system integration partners and their industry vertical alignment

  • Develop relationships with Salesforce (the company) business development and customer success teams at all levels.  Talution Group is well connected and respected within this community and we expect you to build off of our past performance and existing relationship.  Leverage these relationships to develop new opportunities to support their customer base as requested by Salesforce 

  • Develop opportunities within our existing client base.  Objective Partners has several organizations and 100s of clients.   We expect you to get an understanding of which existing clients leverage Salesforce and develop opportunities within this client base

  • Work with the recruiting team to get an understanding of where are candidates are working on complex Salesforce instances and prospect these organizations for new business opportunities


  • Bachelor' s degree from an accredited college or university

  • 5+  years of technical selling experience in either a staffing / recruiting organization or a Salesforce system integrator firm

  • At least one year of experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem 

  • Demonstrated success in a customer-centric environment

  • Working knowledge of using an applicant tracking systems (ATS)

  • High sense of urgency and self-confidence while working in a results-oriented environment

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and on a team


  • Within 1 month you’ ll: 

    • Be fully on-boarded to our various systems and tools.

    • Sit-in with experienced team members to learn the ropes of our business.

    • Watch relevant training videos that cover various technologies, systems and strategies

    • Have 1 Trailhead Badge

  • Within 3 months you’ ll: 

    • Have learned how to track your activity through Bullhorn and manage your metrics in InsightSquared.

    • Contribute to the sales team’ s goals utilizing different tools and strategies you learned.

    • Develop and understanding of our existing client base and service offerings and have a pipeline of 50 credible prospects

    • Have 3 Trailhead Badges

  • Within 6 months you’ ll:

    • Several relationships with key Salesforce influences, Salesforce hiring managers, existing clients and exciting prospects

    • Have the knowledge and training to understand the Salesforce ecosystem and the types of profiles leveraged to build and manage the Salesforce platform

    • Build a network presence through our partnerships and sponsored events, helping to grow your influence over our target market.

    • Have 6 Trailhead badges
