Role Overview

In this position, you will collaborate on our machine learning systems that enhance our advertising delivery process. This includes tasks related to candidate retrieval, user engagement modeling, and improving ad experiences on Etsy.com and the Etsy app. You’ll also work alongside fellow machine learning engineers and product analytics partners to drive meaningful product and customer outcomes.

Requirements

Essential Skills:

• Strong engineering and coding abilities, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience in developing scalable and efficient data pipelines on distributed systems.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and technologies, including TensorFlow, TFX, PyTorch, and Kubeflow.
• Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle, encompassing training, deployment, monitoring, debugging, and refining production systems.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly tools like Dataflow and Vertex AI.

This is a remote, work from home position. This role is to be filled outside the states of California and Colorado.
