What You'll Do:

• Uncover vulnerabilities: Evaluate platforms and services to identify data breaches, unauthorized access, and other cybersecurity risks. Design robust controls to mitigate these threats.
• Cloud Security Champion: Develop and implement cloud security standards that satisfy business requirements, ensuring a secure environment.
• Craft Security Best Practices: Design and establish security policies, procedures, and standards for comprehensive protection.
• Project Leadership: Take the lead on teams and projects of varying sizes, fostering collaboration and driving successful outcomes.
• Knowledge Sharing: Develop valuable content like security automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers to empower internal teams, partners, and clients.
• Microsoft Security Expertise: Lead large engagements, tackling security challenges using advanced solutions like Azure CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP designs, and Azure AD for hybrid environments.
• Comprehensive Security Skillset: Provide in-depth cybersecurity expertise across various disciplines. Analyze, assess, develop, and evaluate solutions and architectures to secure applications, systems, and networks.
• Security Champion: Implement security policies and controls, manage data access, and monitor threats across applications, containers, infrastructure, and networks.
• Azure Security Baseline: Establish secure baselines within Azure environments for enhanced protection.
• Proactive Threat Management: Deploy threat and vulnerability management services to stay ahead of security risks.

Desired Experience:

• 7+ years of experience securing cloud environments with a focus on Azure security.
• Proven track record in consulting (management or technology) with a focus on cloud security.
• Deep understanding of major cloud security frameworks (GDPR, NIST, ISO, SOC2).
• Experience conducting cloud security assessments.
• Excellent communication skills, tailoring technical explanations to diverse audiences at all levels.
• Awareness of security engineering principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Strong project leadership capabilities.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security tools and techniques (firewalls, IDS, endpoint protection, encryption, NAC, SEIM).
• Technical knowledge of server and endpoint operating systems.
• Expertise in identity management and security technologies (Azure AD, SSO, and identity solutions).
• Experience in fast-paced cloud projects across diverse client environments.
• Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
• Experience designing secure cloud networks, systems, and applications.
• Azure and/or security certifications preferred.

This role is to be filled outside the states of California and Colorado.
