Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist
Job Description
Position Summary:
This blended admin/developer role is responsible for the creation, development and automation of customer journey and nurture campaigns, cross sell and upsell campaigns and prospecting campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist will work with creative and technical stakeholders to develop campaigns that help Marketing achieve its key targets and objectives. This role will focus on email marketing initially but will be expected to grow use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud into other channels.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides overall administrative functions with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes managing roles, permissions and users; supporting new or changes to integrations; onboarding new users; creating operational reports and serving as the primary point of contact for system alerts and support.
- Develop dynamic, interactive and responsive emails, templates, journeys and campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using HTML/CSS, AMPscript, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Personalization. May include CloudPage development.
- Build and manage data imports and exports using SQL.
- Assists in requirements gathering, design specifications, data mapping, work?ow documentation, audience building, campaign scheduling, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, delivery and reporting.
- Explores and informs team of emerging marketing automation and best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, content, design and compliance.
Position Requirements:
- 4-5+ years of relevant experience
- A four-year college degree is preferred
- Ability to build custom email templates (HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills)
- Advanced understanding and use of SQL and AMPscript
- Ability to create, update and maintain data extensions
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Automation Studio and Journey Builder
- Deep understanding of Sales-cloud objects and integration
- Deep understanding of third party data integration (APIs)
- In depth understanding of integrations and apps available for Salesforce Marketing Cloud
