SRE Engineer
Our client, a custom software development firm is seeking a SRE Engineer to join the project team supporting a financial services firm.

The Opportunity:
The SRE Engineer will participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning. You will run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a
holistic view of system health. You will play a critical role in the build of software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications. The goal will be to improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market for a suite of software solutions.

The SRE Engineer will bring 5+ years of experience with the following:

• Extensive Azure Cloud experience
• Emphasis on Azure with a discipline in DevOps
• In-depth understanding of Azure security and networking concepts
• Experience using Terraform to provision Azure infrastructure as code across multiple environments to support SDLC processes
• Terraform (scripting to support CI/CD pipelines)
• New Relic APM instrumentation experience
• Experience with SSO integrations
• Previous experience of building and supporting mission-critical software and infrastructure
• The candidate must be a self-starter with a proven track record of taking initiative and working independently
• Curiosity, enjoy learning new things

Nice-to-have skills include:

• Working knowledge of Azure subscriptions and how these maps to resource groups
• LaunchDarkly experience or similar Feature Flag products
• Kubernetes
• Consulting experience

 This is a remote, work from home position. This role is to be filled outside the states of California and Colorado.
