Lead Software Engineer

Summary/Objective:

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with outstanding expertise in software development, emphasizing React, Azure, and .NET technologies. This key position is ideal for someone proficient in Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Azure Web Apps, with a deep understanding of domain-driven design and event-based architectures. The Lead Software Engineer will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions that meet our business goals.

Essential Functions:

• Lead the creation and upkeep of advanced web applications utilizing React, .NET, and Azure Web Apps.

• Supervise and enhance cloud-based solutions utilizing Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus, ensuring scalability and effectiveness.

• Proficiency in Azure App Insights, showcasing the ability to diagnose and solve complex issues efficiently.

• Advocate for the principles of domain-driven design and event-based architectures within software development initiatives.

• Foster collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to conceptualize, develop, and integrate intricate software systems.

• Develop and maintain well-organized, scalable, and thoroughly documented code.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship, nurturing the growth and progress of junior team members.

• Oversee code evaluations to ensure software quality and compliance with best practices.

• Stay updated on and incorporate emerging trends and technologies into software development practices.

Education/Experience:

• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrates over 7 years of software development expertise, with a focus on React, Azure, and .NET technologies.
• Shows a track record of spearheading the development of high-traffic web applications.

This is a remote, work from home position. This role is to be filled outside the states of California and Colorado.
