IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional technical support to our users across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving a variety of hardware and software issues, ensuring efficient resolution of user requests, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with desktops, laptops, peripherals, software, and network connectivity (remotely and on-site)
  • Provide technical support to users for software and hardware installations
  • Configure new systems and troubleshoot existing ones
  • Document routine tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Install, configure, test, and upgrade system software and hardware components for Windows and Mac OS environments
  • Manage the IT support queue, prioritizing issues based on business needs and ensuring timely resolution
  • Assist end-users with basic computing and telecommunication inquiries
  • Participate in additional tasks and projects within the IT department
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes, equipment maintenance procedures, and user training materials

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies
