Position Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled IT Support Associate to provide comprehensive executive IT support to senior leadership, including personal and corporate computer systems, mobile devices, and home media technologies. This position requires a candidate who is articulate, possesses excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills, and can confidently solve a variety of issues in a timely manner.
As the IT Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing support for Microsoft Office Suite, various company software applications, mobility and wireless networking, audio/visual conferencing, and other technologies. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in new user onboarding and offboarding processes, manage workstation images, configure and maintain secure operations for corporate and personal mobile devices, and provide ongoing support to end-users.
You will also be responsible for maintaining system documentation and creating/maintaining user accounts using Active Directory. This role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and work according to changing priorities and deadlines.
As the IT Support Associate, you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with personnel, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver short and long-term goals. You must also be able to work in a team environment, but also be self-sufficient in the absence of assistance.
Skills, Experience, and Education:
The ideal candidate must demonstrate experience in the deployment and support of information technology, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. The position requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to synthesize and communicate thoughts and ideas to executive management succinctly.
Candidates must have a minimum of four years of college, resulting in a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree, and two or more years of professional experience in IT systems support, preferably in a financial or other regulated industry.
Candidates should be comfortable with the Microsoft ecosystem including Windows and Office, have a good understanding of basic networking fundamentals, and possess knowledge of endpoint security and basic cybersecurity principles.
Physical Requirements:
The IT Support Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, in order to physically move computing technologies.
