Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Data Engineer with expertise in Databricks, Power BI, and T-SQL to join a dynamic team in the banking sector. This role will involve designing and managing data pipelines, working with business teams to ensure seamless data integration, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with cloud technologies, banking data, and business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Engineering:

• Design and implement scalable ETL data pipelines using Databricks.
• Write and optimize T-SQL scripts for data extraction and manipulation in the cloud.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with banking industry standards.

• Collaboration with Business Teams:

• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support decision-making by providing accurate and timely data.

• New Production Environment Setup:

• Assist in deploying data pipelines and business intelligence tools to a new cloud-based production environment.
• Ensure smooth data migration, optimizing for scalability and cost-efficiency.

• Cloud Solutions & Integration:

• Manage cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and analytics.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring clean, actionable data for business use.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Stay current with emerging trends in cloud data engineering and business intelligence.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.

  Required Skills & Experience:

• Databricks: Proven experience in large-scale data engineering and ETL.
• Power BI: Strong skills in developing interactive dashboards and reports.
• T-SQL: Expertise in writing optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for large datasets.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for data management and analytics.
• Banking Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial data and regulatory requirements.
• Business Acumen: Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Data Warehousing, Big Data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark).
• Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory).
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards in financial services.
