Job Description

Our client is looking for a partner to support and modernize data architecture with the vision of establishing a modern data estate. This is a high growth, high visibility area with plenty of opportunities to enhance your skillset and build your career.

Responsibilities:

  • Own projects from ideation through execution that evolve our data visualization/architecture/integration patterns while also solving for real and current business needs
  • Designs, develops, and maintains various BI systems and technologies like dashboards, data warehouses, and various reporting systems
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform raw data into usable formats for data analysis and reporting
  • Evolve our data pipeline infrastructure using cloud native tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Collaborate with other data stewards to ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and consistent
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data and analytics
  • Helps deliver results through a comprehensive understanding of iterative Agile delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with approximately 2-5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines
  • Experience taking difficult problems and translating them into solutions
  • Strong proficiency in Business Intelligence platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL, Power Shell, SSIS, SSRS
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture principles
  • Experience with Data Warehouse (Azure Synapse/Snowflake), Data Lake (Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks),
  • Knowledge of enterprise data management platforms (Collibra, Microsoft Azure Data Catalog, etc.) a plus
