**Job Title: AV Technician**

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and professional AV Technician to join our esteemed law firm in New York City. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in conference room setup and maintenance, with a solid understanding of backend technologies such as Zoom and Cisco. This role requires full-time onsite work, five days a week, and offers an opportunity to grow within the organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Set up, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment for conference rooms, ensuring optimal performance for meetings and events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
- Manage backend technologies, including Zoom, Cisco, and other relevant systems, to support virtual meetings and conferences.
- Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to integrate AV solutions with existing infrastructure.
- Train end-users on the proper use of AV equipment and software to enhance their experience and efficiency.
- Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and ensure all systems are up-to-date and in excellent working condition.
- Provide support for video conferencing, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting during live sessions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of AV projects, including upgrades and new installations.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as an AV Technician, preferably within a corporate or legal environment.
- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining AV equipment, including projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
- Strong knowledge of backend technologies such as Zoom, Cisco, and other AV software.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with end-users and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional after-hours or weekend work as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Certification in AV technology or related field.
- Experience in training users on AV systems and software.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure as it relates to AV equipment.
