Senior DBA/Engineer PostgreSQL 

Join our world-class database engineering team!

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Database Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, performant, and reliable database systems. You'll play a key role in supporting our mission-critical operations across data center and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build automated database systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
  • Perform cloud migrations and database lifecycle management
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures
  • Continuously improve skills through training and knowledge sharing
  • Lead or participate in database initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA
  • Proven experience with PostgreSQL replication, SQL, and automation
  • Experience with PostgreSQL client tools, AWS cloud services, and deployment tools
  • Hands-on experience as a database administrator
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data quality skills
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL RDBMS management
  • Experience with common database procedures (upgrades, backups, etc.)
  • Ability to profile server resources and optimize performance
  • Strong commitment to SDLC and change management principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ticketing and cloud monitoring tools
  • Ability to work independently and a flexible schedule

Bonus Points:

  • Experience across various database technologies
  • Experience with configuration management tools
  • Training development skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Locations:

  • Bethlehem, PA or Holmdel, NJ

Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid remote/office model (M-F, 8 AM ET - 5 PM ET)
  • On-call rotation for 24/7/365 support
