Vice President, Office 365 Product Manager


The Technology Solutions department is responsible for designing and delivering state of the art technology solutions that are designed to create efficiency, mitigate risk, and grow revenue for the Firm. Technology Solutions focuses on technical excellence through innovative application designs, robust data integration and analytics, high availability infrastructure, and gold level service for our key stakeholders. Critical functions within Technology Solutions include Project Management, Vendor Management, Business Analysis, Data Strategy and Stewardship, Application Development and 3rd Party Integration, Strategic Infrastructure, and Operations. The Technology Solutions department collaborates closely with Firm leadership and business unit heads to develop plans in line with business objectives.


Position Responsibilities

As the Office 365 Product Manager, you will own the intersection of the potential of Office 365 and how the firm will maximize its possibilities. We want to be sure that the firm derives all the benefit out of our current and future efforts around O365 and, in this role, you would own that responsibility. You’ ll collaborate closely with the various business lines and our development and infrastructure teams to design, plan, and implement Office 365 solutions that help achieve our business goals. You will own the product roadmap and will be responsible for articulating customer requirements and maintaining business justification for new feature and development requests. Given strategic objectives, you will work to deliver solutions that adhere to our company standards and industry best practices.


Responsibilities include:

− Drive the adoption of Office 365 across the various business lines in conjunction with our development and infrastructure teams.

− Build representative business cases to prioritize and execute Office 365 projects based on several factors including cost, benefit, risk, complexity, and alignment with the firm’ s technology strategy.

− Research and implement new Office 365 solutions that help drive value to the business with a focus on minimizing business disruption.

− Participate in strategic project planning meetings, providing guidance and expertise on O365 / SharePoint Online options, risk, impact, and cost/benefit analysis.

− Responsible for populating the overall roadmap for the adoption of O365, ensuring a continual stream of new and innovative ideas are consistently brought to the table.

− Work in partnership with our corporate change management function to ensure that the introduction of new O365 features and functions are ready for adoption.

  Be the SME for the firm with respect to O365

− Help develop training material and curriculum that will be used to help enhance the user’ s efficiency and experience.

− Apply process and discipline traditionally associated with software development to manage IT infrastructure.

− Build strong, productive working relationships with our users.

 − Collaborate with developers and infrastructure to make sure new development environments meet requirements and conform to best practices.


Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience:

− Demonstrated experience and knowledge in deploying and supporting Office 365 in a Financial Services setting.

− Ability to understand & translate business process and need into technical project plans.

 − Previous experience as a critical system “ product owner” within a demanding high paced business.

 − A passion for learning about, developing, and gathering new technologies and related tools to introduce to the company.

− Ability to prioritize requests from various business lines.

− Microsoft Certified Solution Associate – Office 365 a plus

− Demonstrated expertise in developing and supporting SharePoint Online.

− Bachelor’ s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required with 8+ years of experience, preferably in Financial Services Page
