Specialist, Content Marketing

The purpose of this role is to execute deliverables associated with the global content strategy. This individual will work with the Manager, Content Marketing to expand the firm' s content distribution and strategy efforts to help fuel new client acquisition. 

Our client has a significant opportunity to expand the reach and maximize the impact of its thought leadership. Based in New York, the Specialist, Content Marketing, will collaborate with different teams and third-parties around the world with a focus on executing multi-channel “ always on” content campaigns, measuring the effectiveness of content marketing initiatives and helping maintain a global content calendar. 

Content Distribution and Promotion
• Work with internal and external creative agencies to execute “ always on” content campaigns 
• Execute multi-channel promotions and campaigns around key pieces of content
• Maintain content distribution opportunity pipeline and third-party contacts in Salesforce.com
• Manage content distribution across third parties and serve as the day-to-day contact for partners
Content Strategy, Management and Harmonization
• Maintain and share consolidated, forward-looking content calendar
• Conduct research on industry trends, potential partners, etc. to help inform global content strategy
• Help implement and manage content tagging structure
Data and Analytics
• Track and measure effectiveness of content campaigns and initiatives and analyze data to determine trends
• Participate in regular metrics reporting meetings with media agency to optimize campaign spend and effectiveness

• Bachelor’ s Degree in marketing, journalism or communications
• 2+ years of content marketing experience, with a focus on content creation and distribution; financial services experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Google Analytics and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce a plus
• Broad understanding of SEO, SEM, video, digital media and social channels with the ability to execute successful multi-channel content activations
