Quality Assurance Analyst

Seeking a QA Analyst to join an application team which is responsible for developing applications for our Customer Experience initiatives in the Common Applications and Referential Data Services group. This team plays a significant role by delivering solutions which are used by both internal and external customers. The QA Analyst will collaborate with Business Analysts, Business Users, Development Team and Peers in planning and executing verification of the software under test. This project follows an Agile methodology with all team members collocated together. This is a fairly technical role, which requires the use of testing tools for API testing, maintaining test environments and in-depth troubleshooting skills. Database/SQL skills are also important. 

Technical Requirements
•     In-depth software testing experience, with experience in testing multi tiered applications involving front end, back end and database layers 
•     Candidate should have prior experience doing functional, integration and UAT phases of testing software and have worked on test artifacts that drive these testing phases
•     Candidate should have demonstrated working knowledge of SQL to extract and build test data
•     Experience working with an Agile methodology and delivering on commitments within each sprint
•     Experience with testing API’ s 
•     Linux/Unix server environment knowledge
•     Experience documenting software issues discovered using a defect tracking system
•     Experience developing test plans and test cases based on software requirements 
•     Good communication skills, both verbal and written 
•     Candidate must be able to clearly communicate in English both verbally and in writing
•     Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
•     Experience using Rally a plus
