Jira API Developer

This position supports our client’s Jira Align implementation by developing custom integrations between Jira & Jira Align, leveraging their respective APIs. It will be responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, coding the integration, and writing UC4 jobs to run the integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements for which objects should sync between JIra and Jira Align.
  • Accurately estimate implementation effort for prioritization with stakeholders.
  • Code integrations to use the Jira Align and Jira APIs to sync data bidirectionally using Python and JSON.
  • Collaborate with the Tools & Reporting team to incorporate their requirements into the integrations.
  • Write UC4 jobs to automate the execution of the integrations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for these deliverables



 Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of API development experience with Python and JSON; Jira and Jira Align API experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Argo and UC4 jobs for automation tasks.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. 
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework methodology and best practices. 
  • Comfort working in a matrix organization, and with cross-cultural international teams.
